The Associated Press reported today that Michael Preclik was wanted in the Czech Republic - WHILE he was working here in the United States guarding our prisoners. What's up with that?

Were you scammed by an unscrupulous loan officer? Had a bad experience? Hopefully, new procedures enacted by the State will prevent this from happening in the future says The Arizona Republic.

Arizona Loan Officers will be required to be licensed, effective July 1, 2009. Potential loan officers must pass a criminal background check, attend a class on lending laws and ethics, take and pass a test, and will have to post a bond.

This month's Entrepreneur Magazine has a great article about Integrity and the use of background checks in pre-employment situations.

The writer, Mark Henricks, agrees with me that checks PLUS skilled interviewing are the key.
