Strategic Intelligence Services provides DNA testing services as listed below. All testing is conducted in our office or we can come to you.

Paternity / Maternity DNA Testing

These tests are used to determine who is the actual biological father (Paternity) or Mother (Maternity). Including the mother in a paternity test strengthens the genetic evidence and decreases the chances of receiving an inconclusive result. We guarantee a minimum probability of 99.99%** when the mother is included in the paternity test.

Turn around time for testing is 2 days on all listed above except for Pre-Natal DNA testing, which requires 5 - 7 days.

Relationship DNA Testing

These tests are used to determine if there is a biological family relationship. Including the mother in a paternity test strengthens the genetic evidence and decreases the chances of receiving an inconclusive result. It is strongly recommended to include the mother in all relationship cases.

Turn around time for testing is 3 - 5 days on all listed above except for Mitichondrial DNA testing, which requires 10 - 14 days.

Note: All prices are based on buccal swabs, whole blood or FTA cards. We do not charge more for whole blood or FTA cards for paternity/relationship testing, however, please add 5 business days to the turn around tiem for these and all other non-standard sample types.

Extended DNA Testing

For the majority of paternity cases, the 15 genetic marker panel is more than adequate. However, special circumstances can require extended testing to obtain a statistically desirable result. This typically occurs when there is a single genetic mutation or the mother is not included in the test. Y Chromosome DNA testing can be used in cases in which the child is a male, while FFLL and Penta E/Penta D can be used for cases with male or female children.

Immigration DNA Testing

Paternity / Relationship tests used for immigration into the United States are generally handled like a legal paternity/relationship test with a few exceptions. The sample collection kit must be sent directly from the laboratory to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate that is performing the beneficiary's sample collection. The same laboratory must test both the petitioner and the beneficiary(s). Results of testing must be submitted directly from the laboratory to the requesting office of USCIS or State Department. The immigration fee per country which is added to the standard paternity/relationship pricing, covers shipment of the kit to and from the country, as well as shipment of the report to the consulate/embassy.
