Wow, I can't believe it's been since June that I have posted here....I have been busy on our FaceBook page, LinkedIn and on YouTube so if you haven't been there yet, you're missing out.

Okay, back to the task at hand.....I get calls every day with situations where people thought that people, or situations, were different than they turned out to be. It sucks, frankly, and I do my best to get answers and help pick up the pieces.

Another call today, from a landlord that needed assistance with a judgment against a former tenant. Did they check the tenant out before renting, no, and most of the information was bogus. What can I say? You want to be a nice person but if you are in business (and in personal life) you just can't take people at face value....

I had another employer call me because an employee (or should I say contractor) was accused of stealing from a client's home. Did he background check the person or company, no. Did he ask for liability insurance, no.

I recommend doing your due diligence with me or someone else at least. If money is a concern, which it can be, consider it a cost of doing business and how much would you rather pay now to avoid paying a ton later??????

Just sayin'

We offer classes on background checks as they are not all equal and what you need to look at is different depending on the situation. Call us to come in and teach your team, or just you, and we can also do it by live webinar, no matter where you are.

Be safe, not sorry!
